Job description: 1. Clinical Assistant to assess patients vitals and history and document the same in proper order. 2. Taking clinical rounds of patient and accompany primary and referring consultant on their rounds and convey the orders to assigned staff and keep track on the same. 3. Clinical Assistant to channelize for discharge of patient one told fit for discharge by consultant. Job Profile 1. Supervise the well being of patients admitted in the ward. 2. Assist the consultants in the respective wards for the administrative and clinical duties pertaining to the patient care. 3. Examination and documentation of daily patients round in each shift 4. Proper handover to the next shift doctor. 5. Ensure high level of clinical and professional care 6. Administer the medication as directed by the consultants 7. Administer the procedure as directed by the consultants such as Blood collection, intravenous access, Foley’s catheterization, Ryle’s tube insertion, change of dressing, removal of centralines, removal of hemodialysis catheter under supervision(Uncomplicated procedure). 8. Administer notes in the Medical Records of the patients as directed by the consultants according to the Verbal Order Policy. 9. Ensure the completeness of the Medical Records prior to the discharge of the patients 10.Explain the patient about the prescribed doses and its major side effects, if any. 11.Handle emergencies, if any, which are brought to the hospital or that occurs in the Ward and refer to the Consultant In-charge. 12. Inform the consultant about the progress of the admitted patients 13.Prescribing Narcotic Drugs (Patch only) 14.Explaining consent forms to patient (all consents) 15.Explain the patient about treatment on discharge, proper follow-up advice & when to obtain urgent care. 16.Supervise the work of Physician Assistant, Nurses & Technicians and
