Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:
- Lead and manage academic programs and activities in the Primary Section.
- Oversee curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and classroom effectiveness.
- Ensure teaching standards align with school goals.
Teacher Support & Development:
- Guide teachers with planning, assessments, and classroom management.
- Observe classes and provide constructive feedback (minimum twice per teacher monthly).
- Conduct and coordinate professional development sessions.
- Mentor new educators and lead the induction program.
Student Progress & Assessments:
- Monitor academic performance of students through regular assessments.
- Analyze results and ensure timely remedial action is taken.
- Oversee exam preparation, homework policies, and written assessments.
Coordination & Communication:
- Act as a link between the teaching team, parents (via SSD), and the Principal.
- Facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and sharing of best practices.
- Ensure effective parent communication as per school procedures.
Administrative Duties:
- Support the Principal in staff management, timetabling, and school planning.
- Coordinate with the Bangalore academic team for curriculum alignment.
- Assist with textbook planning, resource allocation, and equipment management.
School Development:
- Lead monthly and term reviews aligned with the School Development Plan.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Education or relevant field
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory
- Minimum 7 years of teaching and academic leadership experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and assessment tools
- Experience in working with primary grades preferred
Expected salary: Rs.60000 per month
