Job description: Designation – Quality EngineerLocation – Vasai (Factory)Key Responsibilities:– Develop and implement quality assurance standards, procedures, and processes.– Monitor production and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.– Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.– Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of materials, products, and processes.– Maintain and analyze quality metrics and reports (e.g., scrap rate, customer complaints, process capability).– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and supply chain to address quality concerns.– Support new product introduction (NPI) with quality planning, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.– Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, or others depending on industry).– Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.– Train team members on quality procedures and continuous improvement practices.Key Requirements for the Role:– BE in Mechanical Engineering preferred– 0 to 3 years of experience in quality control/assurance within fasteners or precision components manufacturing– Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)– Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM)– Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and corrective action processes– Strong documentation and communication skills.– Smart approach for quality process development.– Preferred experience with the following machines:– Hardness Testing Machine– Drill Testing Machine– Profile Projector– Universal Testing Machine (UTM)Proposed Salary Range: – 20,000 – – 25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
