Job description: Fleet Maintenance Manager – KolkataCompany: Interstate Oil Carrier Ltd (ISOC)Experience Required: 4 YearsSalary: As per industry standardsLocation: KolkataJob Description:ISOC is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the servicing, repairs, and upkeep of its fleet of chemical/bulk liquid tankers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with commercial vehicle maintenance and managing vendor workshops.Key Responsibilities:Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedulesMaintain service records, logs, and vehicle compliance documentsCoordinate with workshops, mechanics, and spare part vendorsMonitor fleet health, ensure roadworthiness, and minimize breakdownsTrack maintenance costs, fuel efficiency, and downtimeOversee vehicle inspections, fitness renewals, and insurance updatesReport regularly to management on fleet performance and maintenance KPIsRequirementsMinimum 4 years of experience in managing fleet maintenance, preferably in tanker or heavy vehicle logisticsTechnical knowledge of commercial vehicle systems (engine, chassis, tanker equipment, etc.)Strong coordination skills with vendors and internal teamsFamiliarity with compliance requirements (RC, fitness, permits)Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance software (preferred)BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and expertiseWork with a reputed chemical transport companyOpportunity to manage a large-scale logistics fleetSupportive work environment with long-term career growth
