Job description: Job Description :Job Description – Non-Funded Trade Finance SpecialistPosition: Trade Finance – Non-Funded Accounts SpecialistLocation: ChennaiExperience: 3+ YearsIndustry: Banking, Financial Services, Trade FinanceJob Summary:The Trade Finance Specialist (Non-Funded Accounts) is responsible for handling trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Standby LCs (SBLC), Performance Guarantees, and Bid Bonds. The role involves structuring trade finance solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and managing risk in international trade transactions.Key Responsibilities:Issuance & Management of Non-Funded Instruments – Process LCs, BGs, and SBLCs, ensuring timely issuance and amendments.Trade Documentation & Compliance – Verify trade documents per UCP 600, ISBP, and regulatory frameworks.Risk & Credit Assessment – Evaluate counterparty risk and ensure compliance with banking policies.Client & Stakeholder Coordination – Work with corporate clients, banks, and trade counterparties to facilitate seamless transactions.Regulatory Adherence – Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, FEMA, OFAC, and trade finance regulations.Process Optimization – Enhance trade finance workflows for efficiency and accuracy.Key Skills & Competencies:✅ Strong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, URDG, and ICC rules✅ Experience in LCs, BGs, SBLCs, and Trade Credit Insurance✅ Risk assessment and regulatory compliance expertise✅ Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills✅ Proficiency in SWIFT, trade finance platforms, and ExcelQualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Banking, or related fieldExperience: 3+ years in trade finance, non-funded products, or banking operationsCertifications: CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) preferredRequirementsSkills3 + years of experience in Banking field with at least 2-year experience
in similar profile with substantial exposure to handling People / being
People Manager.CDCS Certification will be an added advantage
