Job description: Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching:
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures and lab sessions.
- Develop and update curriculum materials.
- Teach a range of courses, potentially including thermodynamics, mechanics, electronics, electrodynamics, electricity & magnetism, optics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics.
- May teach introductory courses in chemistry as well.
- Research:
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Develop and secure research funding.
- Form research groups, potentially including aspiring PhD students.
- Participate in institutional research endeavors and interdisciplinary projects.
- Mentoring and Advising:
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals.
- Supervise student research projects.
- Departmental and Institutional Activities:
- Collaborate with colleagues on departmental and institutional initiatives.
- Participate in academic committees and professional organizations.
- Other:
- May offer remedial classes or additional support to students.
- May be involved in curriculum development, course design, and assessment.
Expected salary: Rs.35000 per month
