We’re a lean, high-impact team redefining how modern cybersecurity is built.RequirementsWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated Network Field Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network design, configuration, and maintenance and will thrive in a dynamic environment requiring hands-on fieldwork and proactive problem-solving.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining dynamic and complex networks. Good command of top routers, switches, and firewalls with proactive security processes.
- Proactively monitor client networks and resolve issues as per the committed SLAs. Ensuring network best practices are implemented during deployments, audits, and network documentation.
- Working with the Customer Success team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction in minimum time & transparently sharing the RCA of each issue.
- Managing and mentoring the existing Network Engineering Team and channel partners across the globe.
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Ready to get his hands directly in field visits for deployment & debugging.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication skills. Should have the ability to empathise with the customer, handle objections & effectively communicate issues to Indian/Global clients and partners. Must have a strong understanding of Mikrotik.
- Strong understanding of Communication and Routing Protocols like TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLAN, IPSEC, NAT, VPN, BGP, RIP, EGP, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one of these: Perl, Python, or Shell Script. Expertise in network diagnostic tools and commands to monitor network performance and bottlenecks
- WAN, LAN & WiFi technologies like WiFi Congestion, Single-band vs Dual-band, and Frequency. Packet Sniffing, etc.
- Problem-solving Skills: The candidate should have the ability to accurately assess a situation and arrive at a solution in the customer’s interest.
- Readiness for the visit to the client site for regular checks and troubleshooting.
