- Provide counseling to students on educational issues such as course and program selection, class scheduling, truancy, and career planning.
- Counsel individuals to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians, trainers, other counselors, and administrators to resolve students’ behavioral, academic, and other problems.
- Offer crisis intervention to students.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress and determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.
- Prepare students for placements.
- Possess strong counseling and convincing skills.
- Efficiently handle queries and provide necessary support.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
RequirementsRequirements:
- Graduate in any stream
- Knowledge of the Degree Program/Ed Tech Program Admission Ecosystem
- Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling/telecounseling
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
