- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level physics courses (typically 23 per semester)
- Establish and maintain an active research program with the potential for external funding
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present research at academic conferences

- Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement
- Contribute to departmental, college, and university service activities
