- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based units of inquiry aligned with PYP transdisciplinary themes.
- Facilitate a constructivist approach to learning that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and learning styles in the classroom.
- Integrate key PYP elements learner profile, ATL skills, key concepts, and international-mindedness into daily teaching.
- Use formative and summative assessments to inform teaching and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with grade-level and specialist teachers to ensure a cohesive and connected learning experience.
- Maintain accurate student records and report on student progress through portfolios, conferences, and written reports.
- Participate in professional development and school community events.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development and school initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Education or relevant subject area (Masters preferred).
- IB PYP training and/or prior experience teaching in an IB World School preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
- Strong understanding of child development and inquiry-based pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools to support learning and collaboration.
