Job description: Job Title: IB PYP Science & Mathematics Teacher (Grades 1–2)Location: Bannerghatta, Bangalore, KarnatakaSalary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per monthWorking Days: Monday to FridayPosition Overview:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated IB PYP Science & Mathematics Teacher to join our team in delivering the Primary Years Programme to students in Grades 1 and 2. This full-time position offers an opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to their academic and personal growth within an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary framework.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Delivery: Plan, implement, and assess inquiry-based lessons in Science and Mathematics aligned with the IB PYP framework.Student Engagement: Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.Assessment & Feedback: Utilize formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.Collaboration: Work closely with fellow educators to plan interdisciplinary units of inquiry and share best practices.Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with IB PYP developments.Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of teaching experience in an IB PYP setting, preferably with early primary grades.Certification: IB PYP training or certification is highly desirable.Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
